Were you amongst the thousands of visitors at the Autumn Fair in Birmingham earlier this month?
If not, you missed out on a fantastic buying and inspiration experience. The Autumn Fair is the seasonal premier wholesale gift and home trade event, showcasing amazing brands, new products and retail insight. And we were there exhibiting an eclectic mix of our bespoke and some brand new ready to ship products to renowned designers, architects and well-known retailers. It was our first time as exhibitors at the show, after visiting the previous year and we weren't disappointed!
After months of hard work perfecting our display at our factory in Nelson, a team of nine from Chantelle Lighting took turns to talk to visitors throughout the four-day exhibition ‚€" with managing director Anthony Holly sleeping in his campervan during his stay in Birmingham!
"Being part of this year‚€ôs Autumn Fair was a fantastic experience for the team at Chantelle Lighting,‚€Ě said Anthony Holly. "We debuted some new products on the stand and received really positive feedback about them, and we loved seeing how many people were wandering around the exhibition with our branded bags.
"We enjoyed plenty of customer meetings over the four days and have been out to see others since the show ended. We also got a good indication of what kind of products buyers are looking for in the coming months, which will help us when planning new bespoke products.‚€Ě
It was a real team effort from staff at Chantelle Lighting to prepare for the event, with Mick Watson missing his silver wedding anniversary as he spent five days in Birmingham perfecting the stand pre-show.
"From Lauren, Kelli, Jack, Alex, Harriet, Joe, Dean and Lee joining me for spells at the exhibition to the production team creating a fantastic stand and stunning products to showcase, everyone played their part in making the event a success for us.
"It was a really positive experience, spreading the Chantelle Lighting name and exhibiting our bespoke products. We‚€ôre now looking forward to attending more events next year.‚€Ě
