Winter isn't all doom and gloom!

As the winter months approach and the nights draw in, it certainly doesnít have to be doom, gloom and heavy hearts. In fact, there are so many fantastic ways to transform a space from dark to light and bright.

Thatís where we at Chantelle Lighting come in. Our fantastic array of lighting products is the perfect way to illuminate any setting, creating mood and ambience. From our very own ranges exclusive to Chantelle Lighting to completely bespoke fittings, there is something to complement every interior.

Think about those cold nights; on a visit to the local pub you expect cosy corners, rustic hunt lodge style interiors and a roaring log fire; our lighting products are the perfect fit alongside these features to brighten the venue, adding warmth and security. A project at the Farmers Arms in Great Eccleston is the perfect example. The gastro pub retains many of its original features, whilst having a contemporary neighbourhood restaurant/pub feel.

The lighting was so important and it was essential that we complemented the interiors while illuminating the pub throughout to help customers relax. The venue chose a mixture of our lighting products plus some bespoke pieces, meaning the look was quirky and modern, yet welcoming and homely. Our spider fitting above the dining tables features a number of filament bulbs draped from different lengths of drop; itís a nice touch.

Neon lighting is another fantastic way to light up a restaurant or bar. The bright, bold, bubbly colours are eye catching and instantly add a cool vibrancy to the interior. Highlight a catchy quote above the bar; itís the first thing customers will notice when they arrive, and will help them feel relaxed, comfortable and intrigued.

Adding pops of colour to your space is also an easy, simply way to keep it looking funky and alive. Just because the sun isnít streaming through the window doesnít mean it canít look fresh; use the lighting you choose as a way to create warmth and atmosphere all year round. Our very own collections such as the Chameleon Collection and the District range are available in different colour finishes and are ideal for brightening up a space. Fittings in the District range look particularly good hung together in small clusters for maximum impact.

So, as we approach winter and the cold, dark nights are upon us, have a think about lighting and how this can help to portray a very different scene inside a venue.
