Making the cut

Seeing three lighting project you have been involved in shortlisted in the Restaurant & Bar awards is rather humbling.

We take a real pride in everything we do and while we think that each project is a job well done, it is always good to see that others think so too.

Let's have a look at the establishments which made the cut and what we did for them:

Butchies

Butchies is the latest fried chicken shop to enter the ever-growing chicken craze. Designed by Block1, Butchies has been nominated in the fast food category for its casual design, for which we created brushed steel disc walls lights and pendants.

The Butcher's Tap

The Butcher's Tap is the latest pub of TV chef Tom Kerridge and has been nominated within the pub category. We worked alongside renowned design studio Tibbatts Abel in order to supply a variety of wall lights, bulkheads and functional lighting which included a bespoke antique brass sign light with acrylic cylindrical shade. These subtle lighting touches ensured an understated cool, without distracting from the star of the show - the butcher's shop inside.

The Foundry Project, Harrogate

Described as the happiest place in Harrogate the Foundry Project is a soft industrial themed bar/restaurant designed by Concorde Design which has been nominated in the bar or club category. We were tasked with manufacturing bespoke, industrial feature lighting for the project, including three brunt iron drum pendants with acrylic rod detailing and a single bespoke industrial feature mesh cage pendant for above the entrance area.

Can we help you become an award-winning bar or restaurant?
